Remco Evenepoel's 2026 Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8: Gold Accents, SRAM Red AXS & Subtle Design (2026)

Remco Evenepoel's stunning new bike is a testament to his Olympic triumph and a fresh start with his new team. His move from Soudal-QuickStep to Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe was a major headline, fueled by tensions with his former team owner. But now, he's finally unveiled his new ride, a beautiful machine that reflects his achievements.

Evenepoel's bikes have always been eye-catching, and this one is no exception. Following tradition, his Olympic champion's bike features a golden theme. While his previous bike was a full-gold spectacle, this one is more refined, a subtle nod to his accomplishments.

Specialized, in collaboration with Lumarcolors, has crafted a masterpiece. It maintains the team's design, but with a more understated use of gold. The main Red Bull logo on the headtube features beautiful gold leaf, with smaller accents around the seatpost, saddle shell, and fork. Even the SRAM decals, chain, and cassette get the golden touch.

But here's where it gets controversial... The frame also features golden keyline wordmarks applied as a water transfer, giving it a classy look. The tanwall tires complement the gold theme.

The most significant change is the groupset. Instead of Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, Remco is now riding with SRAM. His S-Works Tarmac SL8 is equipped with a SRAM Red AXS groupset, including 165mm cranks and a 52/39T, 10-33T gearset. The rest of the build includes Specialized and Roval components, such as Roval Rapide CLX III wheels with 28mm Specialized Turbo Cotton TLR tires, a Specialized S-Works Power Evo with Mirror saddle, and a K-Edge computer mount.

Here's a quick rundown of the bike's specs:

  • Frameset: S-Works Tarmac SL8 Fact 12r Carbon
  • Fork: S-Works Fact 12r Carbon
  • Cockpit: Roval Rapide
  • Seatpost: S-Works Tarmac SL8 Carbon
  • Groupset: SRAM Red AXS 52/39T, 10-33T
  • Wheelset: Roval Rapide CLX III
  • Tyres: Specialized Turbo Cotton TLR 28mm
  • Saddle: Specialzied S-Works Power Evo with Mirror
